Το φως υπάρχει πάντοτε στα μάτια και μόνο του δεν σβήνει ποτέ.

Το φως

υπάρχει πάντοτε στα μάτια

και μόνο του δε σβήνει ποτέ.

Το σκοτάδι έρχεται και φεύγει

αλλά το φως είναι πάντοτε παρόν

λες και πηγάζει από κάπου

που κανείς, με σιγουριά, 

δεν μπορεί

την πηγή του να προσδιορίσει

κι όποιος το προσπάθησε

χάθηκε τυφλός μες το σκοτάδι

έτσι όπως γίνεται με προβολείς

που σε στραβώνουν.

Το φως που υπάρχει μες τα μάτια

είναι αστείρευτο, 

γιατί όσο περισσότερο προσφέρουν

τόσο λάμπουν στο σκοτάδι.

Το φως δεν είναι απ τον ήλιο

 ούτε το στέλνει η σελήνη

και δεν υπάρχει τρόπος άλλος

 να το δεις, απ την αγάπη.

**The light**

The light is always in the eyes

and never goes away by its own.

Darkness comes and goes

but the light is always present

as if it eminates from somewhere.

No one can identife its source for sure. 

And whoever tried to do so

he's gone blind and lost in the dark,

like the headlights that get you blind.

The light that is in the eyes is infinite,

because the more that eyes offer

the more they glow in the dark.

The light does not come from the sun

or be send by the moon either.

and there is no other way to see it,

than the love itself.
